<\/a><\/p>\nVancouver\u2019s low cost ocean community centre for small naturally powered water craft. \u00a0The Jericho Sailing Centre Association<\/a> is a not for profit ocean community centre, not a private club.\u00a0 There are no restrictions on the number of members allowed.\u00a0 We sometimes have wait lists for boat storage (ground spaces) or locker rentals, but not for memberships.\u00a0 If you want to learn how to sail, kayak, windsurf, paddle, SUP or skimboard, you can take lessons from one of the schools at Jericho.<\/p>\n Established in 1993, the Jericho Paddling\u00a0Club<\/a> (JPC) exists to bring the spirit of paddling to the beaches of Jericho. Originally an outrigger canoe club, our goal is to have people enjoy the water, spirit of competition and camaraderie that surrounds outrigger paddling. Whether you are just learning about the sport or are an athlete looking for a new challenge, our club can accommodate you. Training continues year ’round and we participate in local races and as far away as California and Hawaii. Our members’ ages range from the early 20’s to late 50’s, and novices are more than welcome!<\/span><\/p>\n To reflect the diversity of paddling today, we renamed\u00a0Jericho Outrigger Canoe Club to the Jericho Paddling Club in 2014.
