We are excited to host the Jericho WaveChaser Race Series for the 2026 season. All proceeds from the Wavechaser go to Jericho Rescue, who will be out on the water keeping an eye on you as you compete.<\/span><\/p>\n

Races run every Thursday evening throughout the summer months.<\/p>\n

PROTOCOLS AND RACE OVERVIEW<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The series will run<\/span> EVERY THURSDAY<\/span><\/strong> from April 30th \u00a0to September 3rd off the beaches at the<\/span> Jericho Sailing Centre.<\/a>\u00a0 The races are open to all level of paddlers in outrigger, SUP, surfski, prone, sea kayak, canoe, rowing shell. Courses vary depending on conditions, each race night has a short and a long course.\u00a0 Check-in starts at 6 pm, race starts at 7 pm.\u00a0 This is our 11th season, and we’re growing each year! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

NO REGISTRATION ON SITE\u00a0<\/strong>Pre-register only at Webscorer.com.\u00a0 Each week the link to the race registration will be posted\u00a0on the WaveChaser Facebook page as of midnight (12:01 AM) on Friday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

RACERS MUST CHECK-IN ON SITE BEFORE THE RACE <\/span><\/strong>Check-in will be set up in the JSCA compound.\u00a0 When you arrive, you need to check-in,<\/strong> give the race directors your boat\/bib number and review the race course. \u00a0The course map will be on a whiteboard close by.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is critical for the safety crew to know how many racers are on the water. If you pre-register but don’t check-in, you will not be counted.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

RACE FEES\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Race entry is $5 for Jericho Sailing Centre members and $10 for non-members. You can buy a series pass for the summer and save a few $$! There are 19 races, so the series pass will give you 5 free races plus you only pay the processing fee ($1.40) once, instead of every time you register.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
